Inspired by
mucking out horses day after day I made up poems
When I ride Out my heads held high
My manner proud of bearing
Foes flee before my mighty sword
I’m strong I’m Wise I’m Daring
astride my horse I’ve travailed far
Through lands of fear and magic
Where witches brew and Warlocks do
and good things turn to tragic
With Spirit pure I scour the realm
For wrongs that should be righted
Straight to hell I send the bad
And evil ones I’ve blighted
But oer this land thee is a charm
to which I keep succumbing
In spite of dint of strength and skill
And even deadly cunning
All around to every side
Dank towers in profusion
And in their depths there lurks fair maids
Who’s plight is a delusion
My errand here’s to give them love
For everywhere they sob
What can I do I’m Knight so bold
I’m only doing my job
